Neil Gaiman has won success in many different storytelling mediums: comicsand graphic novels; prose novels, short stories and children's books; radioplays and teleplays. Now he is about to have a significant presence in filmas well. The movie Stardust -- based on the 1998 fantasy novel [by Gaimanand local fantasy illustrator Charles Vess] -- opens on Aug. 10.
