The chase for the star continues on StardustMovie.com where many new residents of Stormhold have appeared, more information on the making of the film is available, and the Starry Sky section is now open!
A LITTLE BACKGROUND
Stardust began as a four-issue serialized short novel written by Neil Gaiman and illustrator Charles Vess of Abingdon, Va. Conceived as a "story book with pictures," Stardust was first published in 1997 as a "prestige" format, four-issue comic book mini-series. The film by Paramount Pictures features an impressive cast: Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Claire Danes, Sienna Miller, Peter O'Toole and Rupert Everett, to name a few. The film opens in theaters on Aug. 10.
MEET THE CHARACTERS
Visit the site today to see new character sections for Lamia, Ditchwater Sal, and Sal's Slave Girl; also check out the "About The Film" section where you can read all about the cast and crew behind the making of Stardust and the production notes on the making of the film.
While you are visiting the characters in the Magical Kingdom of Stormhold and The City of Wall, be on the look out for a new addition -- each character now has a custom wallpaper and a buddy icon available for download. All of these new downloads are also available in the "Downloads" section.
By now hopefully you have had a chance to try your luck at defending the wall between Stormhold and wall from pesky villagers who may try to cross -- but if you have not been able to, or your already skilled at wall defense, now is the time to play again -- the top scores now will forever be shown with the game on the brand new leaderboard -- see if you can get into the top 10.
STARRY, STARRY SKY
Finally be sure to visit the brand new "Starry Sky" section. You can find your way there via Babylon candle if you have one handy, or by clicking on the "Starry Sky" location between the Kingdom of Stormhold and City of Wall on the navigation bar. Once in the Sky, you can navigate through the stars to see messages and stars dedicated to friends and long lost loves alike. Be sure to send your own star while your there.
