How to support the Paramount

March 29, 2017

The Paramount Center for the Arts fundraising campaign is designed to offer everyone a chance to support downtown Bristol's art deco theater.

"Historically, we've relied on a small handful of wealthy people and foundations to support us," Miles Marek, executive director of the Paramount Center for the Arts, says. "They underwrite us, but we need to involve everyone and let them feel like they have a piece of the place. The campaign also offers a discount and early ticketing privileges to donors who give $100 or more. They get the best tickets at the best prices."

At each giving level, donors receive the perks of the previous level plus additional privileges.

The donor levels are The Paramour ($10-$49), which comes with a window decal. At The Paratrouper level ($50-$99) a ticket discount is added. When The Paramounty level is reached ($100-$249) early ticketing is added. Paramount Swag is included at The Paragon level ($250-$499).

The Producers Guild is a group of community leaders, whose generosity has been the bedrock of support for the Paramount for years. Producer Guild levels include The Backer ($500-$999) which offers first look/concierge ticketing that holds your seats through the pre-sale period. The Angel level ($1,000-$2,499) adds lobby recognition. The Impresario ($2,500-$4,999) includes your name displayed on the digital screen in the auditorium. The Mogul ($5,000+) includes recognition as underwriters on one show per season and four complimentary tickets for each underwritten show with premium seating.
