In Focus: Music Club 2010 Fundraiser

December 1, 2010

Laura Ann Warner, President of The Bristol Music Club, wrote:

The Bristol Music Club expresses its appreciation to the staff of the Bristol Herald Courier for its support in promoting our Scholarship Benefit and in highlighting A! Magazine for the Arts in its Opinion page "thumbs up" comments Nov. 13.

The Bristol Music Club chose to honor A! Magazine for the Arts at its Scholarship Benefit on Nov. 12 because A! Magazine supports goals in common with The Bristol Music Club, especially nurturing, encouraging, and promoting young artists through its Youth Spotlight feature, which has included several winners of Bristol Music Club scholarships.

At the request of The Bristol Music Club, the cities of Bristol Tennessee and Bristol Virginia issued a joint proclamation honoring A! Magazine for the Arts on Nov. 12, the day of the Scholarship Benefit.

Our entire community is blessed with the generosity and support of the Bristol Herald Courier and the patrons and donors who ensure that our 46-year record of awarding significant scholarships to young musicians will continue. We thank each one of you.
