March 13 is Arts Advocacy Day in Tennessee

NASHVILLE -- Arts Advocacy Day will be held Tuesday, March 13 in Nashville. Tennesseans for the Artshas scheduled a full day of activities for the annual event, with hundreds of arts supporters from across the state expected to attend.

Registration is currently underway, and is only $10. Participants may also register on the day of the event beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Nashville's Main Library on Church Street in the downtown area. The Library will provide tours of their facility and their collections. Beginning at 12:15, TFTA will hold a meeting at the Library, and at 1 p.m. the Chattanooga Boys Choir will perform at Legislative Plaza.

During the day participants will visit with their legislators to thank them for their support of the arts. For more information call (615) 277-7400.
