Museum launches Brick Campaign

August 31, 2021

William King Museum of Art’s Abingdon, Virginia, campus is being renovated. The 20+ acre campus is being turned into a community park to promote healthy
lifestyles for all ages.

To help fund the project, the museum is offering its Brick Campaign. WKMA is encouraging donors to associate their names (or those they wish tohonor or remember) with Brick Welcome Mats which will be located right below the front steps of the museum. Brick pavers can be inscribed with names and memories in exchange for a gift to WKMA. Bricks may also carry the names of organizations and businesses.

For donations of $100 or $250, WKMA offers the option to inscribe a name and/or message on a brick paver: $100 entitles the donor to a 4x8 clay brick with
three lines of copy, max 18 characters per line; $250 entitles the donor to an 8x8 clay brick with six lines of copy, max 18 characters per line. Order bricks online at Williamkingmuseum.org/the-brick-campaign/ or at Bricksrus.com/donorsite/wkma. If you have questions, call Nikki Hicks at (276) 628-5005 x113. William King Museum of Art is open seven days a week and admission is free.
