BRISTOL, VA/TN -- The Appalachian Cultural Music Association (ACMA) is proud to announce its new color brochures are available to the public. There are three brochures now being distributed by the ACMA. One brochure is for the actual non-profit ACMA, the second is for the Pickin' Porch, and the third is for the Mountain Music Museum. All three are based in the Bristol Mall just off Interstate 81 at Exit 1 in Bristol, Va.
The brochures were printed by Bryant Label Company of Blountville, Tenn. and donated to the ACMA. "Bryant Label has always been a true friend to our music and the region." said John Necessary, vice president of theACMA. The design for the brochures was a collaboration of talents from ACMA members. The photographs of various Mountain Music Museum artifacts were taken by Kingsport native Chris Rector. The Pickin' Porch photos were takenby Mr. and Mrs. Rick Rouse of Abingdon, Va. and the graphic design was created by Church Hill, Tenn. native Gary Wedemeyer. Other archival photos were furnished by the ACMA and Bryant Label Company for the ACMA brochure.
"These beautiful brochures will be a very valuable tool for the ACMA to use to further our cause of promoting the pure music of our region." said Tim White, president of the ACMA. "We urge anyone and everyone who has anoutlet for our brochures to request these for distribution, they are free and available at the Mountain Music Museum." White said.
The brochures have already been distributed to the Virginia Tourism Corporation for their racks in three of their Virginia Welcome Centers. The brochures are also available at the Bristol Chamber of Commerce. The ACMArecently joined the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and the Pickin' Porch is now an official venue on the Crooked Road.

Meetings for the ACMA are held the first Monday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Pickin' Porch area in the Bristol Mall and the public is invited to attend and join the organization in promoting the music of the Southern
Appalachian Region.
-- The Mountain Music Museum is open all Bristol Mall hours 7 days a week. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
-- The ACMA's Pickin' Porch is held every Thursday night on the upper level of the Bristol Mall from 7 till 9 pm. Admission is also free for this weekly concert.
