Arts Alliance Mountain Empire, publisher of A! Magazine for the Arts, is very proud to announce that the online version of A! Magazine is now more interactive and user-friendly. The newly enhanced website, www.artsmagazine.info, is a great complement to the print edition of A! Magazine. AAME is pleased to bring this service to our readers and the arts community.
Visitors to the new website will find it easy to navigate. On the "Home" page, click on titles listed under "Also In This Issue" to read articles found in the monthly print issue of A! Magazine. "A! Extra", a new column, puts the latest information right at readers' fingertips and is constantly updated with news about what's happening in the arts. To find articles and calendar events for specific interests, use the convenient "Search" box at the top of each page, or click the "Topics" tab to select from a wide array of categories. Browse through the A! Calendar where a new feature lets you click a specific month to see a list of scheduled events.
Readers and arts enthusiasts are invited to subscribe to the free email digest. Subscribers receive a monthly update with links to articles from the newest issue of A! Magazine, plus periodic updates when "A! Extra" items are posted. Email addresses will only be used for the purpose of delivering the email digest and will never be shared with a third party. It's easy to get the latest Mountain Empire arts news delivered directly to your Inbox: to receive "A! In Your Email," scroll to the bottom of the right-hand column, type in your email address and click on "Subscribe."
The new A! Magazine for the Arts website was developed and designed by Graphic Bliss Advertising of Bristol, Tennessee. The project, which was a year in planning, was made possible by grants from the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

AAME was founded in 2003 as an arts council serving artists, arts organizations, and other cultural endeavors in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. AAME collaborated with the cities of Bristol, Tennessee and Bristol, Virginia to bring Art in Public Places to downtown Bristol in 2006. In addition to A! Magazine for the Arts, AAME also publishes Our Cultural Crossroads, a visitor's guide to our region. A! Magazine for the Arts is the 2003 winner of the Tennessee Governor's Award for Arts Leadership. AAME is the 2006 winner of the Arts Council of Greater Kingsport's Award for Arts Leadership.
