Bill Campbell shares his passion for opera as host of Opera Preview that airs on WEHC-FM.
Bill Campbell sang baritone in the Virginia Opera from 1981 to 1993 in productions such as Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann), Massenet's Manon, and Verdi's Il Trovatore.
A lifelong devotee of opera, the Bristol native listened to broadcasts via local television and radio as a youth. Now in his 70s and living in Abingdon, Va., Campbell shares his passion for opera as host of a radio program called Opera Preview that airs on at 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month simultaneously on WEHC-FM (90.7) and online (go to www.ehc.edu, scroll down to WEHC-FM and click "Listen Live").
