Sullivan County students artwork wins contest

November 30, 2021

The Sullivan County Tennessee School System holds an annual Christmas Card Art Contest for its students. The winning designs are used as the system’s holiday card and sent to their Christmas list.

This is the fifth year for the Christmas Card Art contest, and they received more than 80 student entries.

Central office staff judges the entries. The winners are recognized at the December board meeting and receive a copy of the card, a matted print of their artwork and a small prize.

Winners from elementary schools include Harper Harrison, Holston; Abbi Arnold, Bluff City; Ally Brown, Bluff City; and Olivia Blankenship, Indian Springs.

Middle school winners are Jesse Oaks, Sullivan Heights; Abigail Carpenter, Sullivan Heights and Daisy Wilder, Sullivan East.

High school winners include Autumn Stanley, Sullivan East; Aya Bowen, West Ridge; Karen Rincon-Nicolas, Sullivan East and Tayler Hicks, Sullivan East.

We support the school system’s efforts to promote their students and the talented students by reproducing their artworks in this month’s magazine.
