The Sullivan County Tennessee School System, led by Chuck Carter, director of schools, holds an annual Christmas Card Art Contest for its students.
The winning designs are used as the system’s holiday card and sent to their Christmas list.
Central office staff judges the entries. The winners are recognized at the December board meeting and receive a copy of the card, a matted print of their artwork and a small prize.
This year’s winners are Riley Moore, a third-grader from Holston Elementary; Madison Brewer, an eighth-grader from Sullivan Central Middle and Destiny Wilson, a 12th-grader from West Ridge High School.
Their winning designs are featured here.
