Area ballet companies teach students about dance as an art form, including technique, artistry, production, and awareness of other art forms. Students audition for the performing company and for participation in major productions, usually a spring recital and a holiday production in November or December.
Instead of talking about the technical aspects from an artistic director's point of view, A! Magazine decided to get the students' points of view for this story.
