KINGSPORT, TN --The Arts Council of Greater Kingsport has changed its name to KingsportARTS and announced the following staff changes:

• Long-time bookkeeper Cathie Faust has been named Executive Director, responsible for all activities of the organization in addition to the financial activities for all programs of KingsportARTS. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to oversight of part-time contract labor, handling all payments and deposits, registration records, and the records for grant final reports and grant writing. As the former Finance and Grants Manager, she has been responsible for daily operation of the Arts Council office since 1993. Her work history and program knowledge, along with her financial background and skill set, makes her an invaluable resource and asset to the KingsportARTS. She holds a BS in Computer Science from East Tennessee State University.

Tina Radtke has been appointed Program Director. She started working in February as temporary contract labor and beginning June 30, 2010 was made Program Director. She is responsible for the planning and execution of all programs for KingsportARTS. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of all programs of KingsportARTS, hiring artists, grant writing, marketing, and budgets for individual programs. She originally joined the staff in February to help bring Arts4Kids workshops into alignment with state education standards in Visual Art, Theatre, Music and Dance. She holds a Master's of Education from Milligan College and is licensed to teach Fine Arts Theatre (K-12). Her education background has been invaluable in bringing our Arts4Kids workshops into alignment with current state education standards in Visual Art, Theatre, Music and Dance.
