As a commitment to Barter Theatre'sCore Values of Community and Service, they will be providing complimentary tickets to residents affected by the disaster as well as first responders and emergency response workers to the Saturday, Oct. 19, performances of "AWrinkle in Time" at 10 a.m. (Smith Theatre) and "ThePlay that Goes Wrong" at 2 p.m. (Gilliam Stage). Additionally, a percentage of paid ticket proceeds from these performances will be donated toward Southwest Virginiafor disaster relief. Lastly, they will also provide an in-person “bucket” appeal at these two performances for cash donations, 100%of which will go toward the relief efforts.
The complimentary tickets are available the day of the performance on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Tickets are available for purchase by those not affected.
