Wise, VA–Maria Yefimova presents Masterworks for Piano featuring pieces from Jean Phillippe Rameau, Franz Schubertand Maurice RavelSunday, March 30at 2 p.m. in Cantrell Hall on the UVA Wise campus. The concert is free and open to the public. This performance is brought to you by the Pro-Art Association and The University of Virginia’s College at Wise in conjunction with the W. Hailed by critics as “highly artistic,”“brilliant”and “truly outstanding,”internationally acclaimed pianist Maria Yefimova has toured throughout the United States, Russiaand Europe, performing in major venues such as Carnegie Hall, Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory Hall, Lisinsky Hall (Croatia), Teatro Puccini (Italy)and Slovak Philharmonic Hall. She has been featured on the Bravo TV network, Tele Monte Orlando (Italy), Paradise Radio (USVI), and Slovak National Television. Yefimova is a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (B.M) and the Manhattan School of Music (M.M., D.M.A), and has served on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music and the College of William and Mary. She currently maintains a vibrant private piano studio in Richmond, Virginia.?
