LoneHawk Whitlock's "Pieces of My Psychosis"ison exhibit during the month of May at Fischman Gallery.Whitlock is a self-taught artist hailing from the American Southwest, now creating out of Johnson City, Tennessee. Guided by instinct, visionand an unshakable drive to give shape to the intangible, his work is bold, challengingand deeply personal. Drawing from found objects, iconic imageryand his own inner world, Whitlock explores themes of life, deathand the liminal space in between. Without formal training, his process is raw and organic — often starting with three-dimensional forms that evolve into photography or painting. "Pieces of My Psychosis"embodies his commitment to pushing creative limits, growing as an artistand carving out a place in both private collections and gallery exhibitions.
The opening artist's reception is Friday, May 2, from 6:30-9 p.m. Fischman Gallery is located in Atelier 133, 133 N Commerce Street, Johnson City. Regular Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Thursdayand Friday, 10 a.m.- to 3 p.m. Saturdays, and 10 a.m.- to 3 p.m. Sundays.
